A ceremonial object designed to preserve the achievement, identity and memory of an international competition.
As event designers for the 2026 European Taekwon-Do ITF Championships in Heraklion, Crete, we designed the official medal as a lasting symbol of athletic achievement. Its layered construction, concentric details and dynamic outer form communicate movement, discipline and the international importance of the championship.
The event title, location, year and official organisations were carefully integrated into the design, ensuring that the medal remained both visually impressive and historically meaningful. Created in close cooperation with AOTE, the final piece gives every athlete a tangible memory of their performance in Greece.
