A personal medical identity where scientific precision meets the freedom of sailing.
For microbiologist and biopathologist Nikolaos Karnis, we wanted to create an identity that would communicate professional expertise while also reflecting something personal about the doctor himself. The central symbol brings together two important parts of his life: the microscope he uses in his scientific work and his love of sailing.
Through careful simplification, the microscope’s structure also becomes the mast and sail of a boat, allowing both ideas to coexist within one elegant, minimal form. The turquoise colour connects cleanliness, health and medical trust with the freshness and openness of the sea. Applied across business cards and professional materials, the result is a distinctive identity that feels precise, calm and genuinely personal.
